This mailing list was started about six months ago, when the site first made its debut on the net. It grew at an amazing rate. As of December 1998, we support 80 members with a wide ranging demographic: 14 - 65 year olds in almost all U.S. states and a dozen or so countries.

In fact, the interest generated by the list alone has encouraged me to upgrade the site to its current state. Otherwise, THE DRUNKEN BOAT might have become another abandoned site on the net.  I am endebted to all of those already signed on for their inspiration and encouragement.
